Mechanical & Electrical
- Heating will be provided to all apartments via
air source heat pumps. The indoor heat pump
units will generate domestic hot water or low
temperature hot water (LTHW) for space
heating.
- Whole house ventilation will be provided to
the apartments via Mechanical Ventilation Heat
Recovery (MVHR) units. These units will provide
fresh air and extract foul air from the
apartments. The MVHR units utilise the energy
of the air extracted to pre-heat or pre-cool the
fresh air to the apartments depending on the
season.
- Radiators and towel radiators will be provided
with thermostatic control valves to control
heating in rooms.
- Electric underfloor heating to all bathrooms.

The design has been awarded ‘Level 4’ under
the Code for Sustainable Homes certification.
Specialist sustainability consultants formed
part of the design team from conception up to
delivery, ensuring environmental impact was
mitigated.
